starting february at home

Unfortunately I had to start this February lying around at hoem. I'm better now, but still feeling a little... weary. Time goes on so slowly when there's absolutely nothing you can do...


... when the only thing you can do...


 is to lie around in a corner...

But I absolutely love these two blankets. Both are made by my mother,  the white one is mine and the granny one is a present for my daughter for her 10th birthday, partly made of the squares I crocheted late in the 1970's!

I'm so fortunate to have a warm home.

two happy things

my very best dearest bought returned home from Tunisia yesterday and brought along something very special: a bowl full of delicious zgougou cream!
here pictures together with my second happy thing of the day: I turnes two of my wrist cuffs into happy little candle holders :-*

ps. zgougou is kind of a "pudding" made of pine nuts! *yammy*

On my daily walks with Enna, the first house we see, is this one. A normal, modern house, pretty boring. Except of this pretty red detial on the wasll. It always makes me happy. Even in the grayest days.

Lying sick in bed for days, finally a little fitter, trying to find some distraction for a while browsing through internet, I happened to end up in this nice blog of Valentina, Vintage blackboard.
I absolutely fell in love with the street art of Kenny Random. Wouldn't really mind having some on my own walls. Kenny!??
