Küchenplanungen...

Endlich! Meine Küchenschränke bekommen neue Fronten. Die andereren Türen sind schon mal teilweise erneuert worden, vor Jahren, aber die Vitrinentüren haben 16 Jahre auf dem Buckel.

Finally! My kitchen cup boards will get new door. All the others have been changed for many years, but the glass doors are 16 years old. Sixteen years!

Lopultakin! Keittiön kaappini saavat uudet ovet. Muut ovet on joskus jo osittain vaihdettukin, mutta vitriiniovet ovat 16 vuotta vanhat. Kuusitoista  vuotta!



Meine Überlegung ist, auch diesen Inhalt sichtbar zu machen und auch in diesem Schrank Vitrinentüren zu verpassen... Was meint ihr?!

Kauneuskävelyllä

Blogiystävä muistutti keskusteluryhmässä hyvistä tavoista ajatella myönteisemmin. Yksi harrastamani tapa on käydä kauneuskävelyllä; yritän kiinnittää huomion vain kaikkeen kauniiseen ympärilläni. Se onnistuu myös kaupungilla, ja on tosi helppoa luonnossa. ;-)
Tähän väliin siis taas muuta kuin ♥ Barcelonan hehkutusta. se jatkuu fotoblogissa.


A blog friend reminded me of different ways of positive thinking. One of the ways I practise for years is called Beauty walk; go for a walk & try to focus on the beautiful things you see and ignore the bad things. It really works all over, in the nature it is usually very easy to do. ;-)


Eine Blogfreundin erinnerte mich an die verschiedenen Weise, positiv zu denken. Seit Jahren practiziere ich auch "Schönheitsspaziergänge"; geh spazieren und merke alles Schöen Drumherum, alles Schlechte und Hässliche wird ignoriert, wenn man nicht doch etwas Schönes darin sehen kann. Es funktioniert wirklich überall, in der Natur ist es natürlich am einfachsten. ;-)

my very best dearest bought returned home from Tunisia yesterday and brought along something very special: a bowl full of delicious zgougou cream!

Buntes Chaos im Kopf

♥Etwa so dürfte es in meinem Kopf aussehen... Viele kleine, bunte Ideen und Anregungen. Aber es gibt nicht EINEN roten Faden, sondern es mischen sich auch andere dazu... Und wenn ich den roten Faden kurz mal finde, dann läuft der dopelt und in vielen kleinen Windungen... Ach, ist das Leben schön!

PS. In meiner finnischen Heimat liegt schon der erste Schnee. *brrr* Da bin ich dann doch lieber etwas südlich.

Pauline ist da...

... und schon fertig for the road! Wenn man einen runden Geburtstag hat, kann frau es zum Anlass nehmen, sich selbst ein paar Nettigkeiten zu schenken, oder? Manchmal findet frau auch neue Freunde dabei. Ich habe nun zwei neue Freundinnen: Frida und Pauline. Ich habe lange gesucht, und dann endlich Pauline gefunden. Hier, bei Peace4you. Mein Foto zeigt sie leider nicht in all ihrer Schönheit. Pauline ist nicht nur WIE für mich gemacht, sondern sie es es buchstäblich. SInd die Details nicht toll?! Ein blaukarietes Innenleben aus Originalbäckerhosenstoff! Mit vielen kleinen Taschen! Diese wunderbaren hellblauen Nähte! Das alte schöne Leder! *kreisch*

Pauline is there... ready for the road! If one has a special birthday, a girl might take it as an opportunity to give herself a few pleasantries, right? Sometimes, one even makes new friends... Since my birthday, I have two new friends now: Frida and Pauline. I was looking for the perfect bag for a long time, and then finally found Pauline. Here, at Peace4you. My photo doesn't really do her justice, sorry. Pauline is not only JUST AS made for me, she is it, literally. Aren't those details just perfect? The blue checkered interior of original baker pants material! *g* With many small pockets! That beautiful light blue stitching! The old beautiful leather!

I ♥ Bunte Stifte

Seit meiner Kindheit habe ich eine riesengroße Liebe für Buntstifte. Auch wenn ich nicht so schön zeichnen kann wie ich gerne möchte. ♥ Ich habe öfters mit Stiften wie mit Puppen gespielt. Sie je nach Größe und Farbe in Familien geteilt. Mal mit gleichen Farben, mal mit Farben, die einfach schön zusammen aussehen. ♥ Es war für mich unmöglich, diese Fotos zu sortieren... bitte um Verständnis ;-)


Ever since I was very young I love crayons. I cannot paint as beautiful as I wish I could. But I still love them. I used to play with crayons as I played with dolls. ♥ The crayons were organized by size and color into families. Sometimes these families were made of similar colors, sometimes just of colors that looked pretty together. ♥ Please understand that it was unpossible for me to select "some" of these photos... ;-)


Olen aina rakastanut värikyniä. Valitettavasti en osaa piirtää niinkauniisti kuin toivoisin. Lapsena leikin usein värikynillä kuin nukeilla. ♥ Kynistä kokosin perheitä koon ja värin mukaan. Joskus perheen jäsenet olivat saman värisiä, joskus perheet koostuivat väreistä, jotka näyttivät kauniilta yhdessä. ♥ Niinpä minun oli aivan mahdotonta valita tähän vain muutamia kuvia... koettakaa ymmärtää ;-)










Meinen lieben kleinen Freunden gefallen bunte Stifte auch. Und morgen bekommen sie eine hübschere Dose dafür! ;-)

Ein wildes Fest

Oh ja. Ein wildes Fest haben wir gefeiert. Das Älteste von meinen kleinen Tageskindern ist am Dienstag 3 geworden. Wir feiern das Geburtstagskind immer so, dass wir am Vormittag gemeinsam einen Kuchen backen, den wir dann zu Mittag als Nachtisch speisen ;-) Anders würden sie mir das Mittagessen streiken.

Die ABSOLUTE Lieblingsfarbe vom Geburtstagskind ist grün. So hat er von mir ein Tischset in grün bekommen. Mit seinem Namen in Streifenbuchstaben, denn Streifen mag er auch gerne! Und die Karos passen gut dazu, und die mag ich *g*

Beim Teigumrühren merkt man, wie sich Dreijährige schon toll auf diese wichtige Aufgabe konzentrieren - sogar die Zunge bleibt im Mund! Ihr müsst euch den Rest wieder vorstellen: Frau kommt nicht zum Fotografieren mit fünf Unter-drei-jährigen, die alle der Reihe nach umrühren wollen. Als der Kuchen im Ofen war, haben wir schön gefeiert, danach den Kuchen mit Schokoguss und den obligatorischen Smarties verziert und irgendwann auch kurz ein wenig Gemüsesuppe gelöffelt, damit wir mit gutem Gewissen den Kuchen essen dürfen. Gewickelt wurde die ganze Bande irgendwann auch noch. Was man alles in einem Vormittag schafft?!

Fad war uns nicht. Auch wenn ich wenig Fotos habe, ist meine beste Erinnerung dass der Kleine GROßE Kumpel müde, aber zufrieden vor seinem Mittagsschläfchen seufzte: "DAS war ein wildes Fest!"

Ich habe mich so gefreut. Ich bin ein Glückskind.

Oh yes. A wild celebration, indeed. The oldest of the children I take care became three years old on Tuesday. To celebrate the birthday child we always bake a cake, which we then eat for lunch as a dessert. Otherwise, the kids would strike the lunch. ;-)

The ABSOLUTE favorite color of this birthday boy is green. So I made him a place mat in green. With his name on striped letters, as he likes stripes as well! And the checks go great with the stripes, and I like them*g*

Mixing the cake I realized how perfectly a three-year-old focuses to this important task - even his tongue remained in the mouth! You can certainly imagina the rest again, I was not able to take pictures with five under-three-year-old kinds, everyonewanting to hepl mixing the dough. During the cake being baked in the oven, we had fun playing, then decorated the cake with Smarties and also spooned a little vegetable soup, so that we officially were allowed to eat the cake with a clear conscience. Somewhere in between I managed to get these wild kids a fresh Pampers too. *g* So many things to do in such a short time...

What a fun! Although I managed to get only a couple of pictures, my best reward is that the young BIG fellow sighed exhausted but happy before his afternoon nap: "THAT was a wild party!"

I'm so happy!

Vietettiin villi juhla. Vanhin ihanista pienistä hoitolapsistani täytti tiistaina kolme vuotta. Juhlimme syntymäpäivää aina niin, että aamulla leivomme yhdessä kakun, jonka sitten nautimme lounaalla jälkiruoaksi. Muuten voin unohtaa lounaan ;-)

Pikkukaverin EHDOTON lempiväri on vihreä. Niinpä hän sai minulta vihreän ruokailualustan. Hän pitää myös raidoista, joten kirjaimet olivat raidallisia. Ja ruudullisia, koska ne sopivat hyvin raitojen kanssa, ja minä pidän niistä. *g*

Kakkutaikinaa sekoittaessa on ihanaa huomata, miten villi kolmevuotias osaa keskittyä tähän ärkeään homman niin täydellisesti - jopa kieli pysyy suussa! Loput hommat saatte kuvitella - valokuvaaminen on hankalaa, kun viisi alle-kolme-vuotiasta haluaa hämmentää, jokainen vuorollaan. Kakun paistuessa juhlimme ja leikimme, sitten koristelimme kakun pakollisilla suklaarakeilla. Lopulta onnistuin saamaan lapset lusikoimaan jopa vähän kasviskeittoa, niin että voimme syödä kakkua hyvällä omallatunnolla. Jossain välissä jopa vaihdettiin koko porukalle vaippojakin, mitä kaikkea sitä parissa tunnissa ehtiikään. Vaikka onnistuin ottamaan vain vähän kuvia, ihanin muisto on, kun tämä pikku iso kaveri huokaisi vasyneenä, mutta onnellisena päiväunille mennessään: "... olipas villit juhlat!"

Olen niin onnellinen!
