Ein besonderes Erinnerungsstückchen ♥

Es war vor schon einem Jahr, als mich mein Cousin mit seiner Familie besuchte und von seiner Mutter laute liebevolle Kleinigkeiten mit brachte. Sie wusste, dass ich sie lieben würde. ♥

♥ Das Resultat bin ich euch noch schuldig. Fertig gehäkelt habe allerdings ich, nicht die kleine Hundedame. Die Idee dazu lieferte mir Amy von "chick chick sewing". Da ich zufällig Acrylwolle zuhause hatte, musste ich es sofort probieren. Sieht allerliebst aus und es funktioniert! Weg mit den hässlichen grünen Schwämmen! ;-)

♥ This is how the result looks like. The idea to these pretty little things came from Amy from "chick chick sewing". Since I happened to have some acrylic yarn at home, I had to try it immediately. It looks absolutely lovely - and it works! Get lost, you ugly green sponges! ;-)

♥ Sain virkkaustyöt valmiiksi, vaikka koira olisi mielellään auttanut. Amy antoi minulle idean näihin söpöläisiin löysin Amy "chick chick sewing" blogista. Minulla sattui olemaan akryylilankaa kotona, siispä minun täytyi kokeilla sitä heti. Pikkuliinat ovat aivan mahdottoman söpöjä - ja toimivat! Pois rumat vihreät sienet keittiöstäni! ;-)


♥ Wobei ich die hässlichen schon lange in Schrank versperrt habe ;-) und nur zum Kratzen raus hole, wenn notwendig. In die hübschen finnischen Küchentücher bin ich ja schon lange verliebt, solche wie dieses hier im Bild - eines meiner neuen - von Pop Design und die von Gallerie Ann - gezeigt hier.

♥ Although the ugly ones I have blocked away in the closet;-) and take them out only to scratch the dishes if needed. I'm completely in love with the beautiful Finnish kitchen towels, such as this one in the picture - one of my new ones - from Pop Design or those from Gallerie Ann - shown here.

♥ Jo kauan pidänkin kyllä niitä rumia kaapissa;-) ja päästän ne ulos vain raapimistarpeen vaatiessa. Olen aivan rakastunut kauniisiin suomalaisiin tiskirätteihin, kuten esim. tämän kuvan Pop Designin rättiin- yksi uusimmista räteistäni - ja Gallerie Annin iloisen värisiin - tässä kuvassa.

Wisst ihr eigentlich, wie so ein Compact Camera innen aussieht? Vor allem, wenn da in der Tasche Kakao eingeronnen ist... Nach der Reinigung bewegt sich alles wieder, aber Bildschirm zeigt nur noch weiß, und Fotos sind schwarz.

Have you ever seen a compact camera from inside? Want to see how it looks like after being in touch with a cocoa drink in the bag... After being cleaned it works again: with an white display and black pics.

Tiedättekö miltä pokkarin sisällä näyttää? Ja miltä siellä näyttää, jos laukussa on ollut kolliisio kakaojuoman kanssa...? Puhdistuksen jälkeen kaikki osat liikkuvat taas ja kamera näyttäisi toimivan, mutta näyttö on valkea ja kuvat mustia. Hmm. Pekka, voiko vielä tehdä mitään??



Ergebnisse meines Projekts: Polsterüberzüge für Tunesien. Wir haben noch kein Sofa, aber die tun sich sicher gut auf dem Matratzenlager, oder? Die Stoffe habe ich letztes Jahr dort auf dem Wochenmarkt für 1,50€/m gekauft. Der Karostoff und die Spitzen sind aus meinem Fundus. ;-) Danke Müller. Das Stückchen Rosenstoff ist ein uralter I*ea Kissenbezug gewesen.

My projects: cushion covers for Tunisia. We don't own any couch yet ;-) but I'm sure, these will do fine on our pile of matresses too, right? I found the stripes fabrics in Tunisia last year on the weekly market for 1,50€/m. The lace and the checkered fabric out of my closet. ;-) Thanks to Müller. The flower fabric is a piece of a very old I*ea cushion cover.

Minun projektini: tyynynpäällisiä Tunisiaan. Ei meillä kyllä ole viellä sohvaakaan, mutta eiköhän nämä passaa mainioisti lattiapatjoillekin, vai mitä? Raidalliset kankaat nappasin viime kesänä paikalliselta torilta 1,50€/m hintaan, ruudullinen kangas ja pitsit ovat kaapistani - kiitos Müllerille - ja ruusukangas on pala ikivanhasta I*ean tyynyliinasta.

More daily delights - for me...

Gegen Ende dieser etwas anstrengenden Woche, wo zwischen 40 Stunden Job und zwei Nebenjobs kaum Zeit fürs Bloggen bleibt, zeige ich euch mal meine Muntermacher, dir ich mir gegönnt habe: meine kleinen Freunde verstecken sich gerne in in ihrem neuem Zuhause, das eigentlich mein neues Stifttäschchen ist, aber sie glauben es halt nicht...

The end of this stressed week, juggling between a 40 hours job and two part time, not really having time for big creative project or even blogging is nearing. I have finished some small project though: these tiny fellows love to hide in their new home, taht's actually my new pencil case.. They just can't accept it ;-) And I just had to put some yoyo's on them... *gg*

Tämänkin vähän rankan viikon loppu alkaa häämöttää. Taiteillesssa kokopäivätyön ja kahden lisähomman välissä ei aikaa juuri jää isoille käsityöprojekteille, eikä juuri edes bloggamiselle ;-) Ilahduttaakseni hommiani sain kuitenkin pari pikku projektia valmiiksi: näille kavereille valmistui uusi koti, joka on kyllä oikeastaan kynäpenaalini, mutta he eivät usko sitä. Pakko oli myös saada laittaa jojoja jonnekin *gg*

Seit ich die Lichttüten bei Alexandra gekauft habe, möchte ich so 'was in der Art nachmachen. Nun hatte ich den passenden Stoff dazu. Absolut leicht und frühlingshaft. Hast du übrigens Nora's schöne Dinge schon gesehen?

Since I bought those "light bags" ;-) from Alexandra I want to make sothing like that myself. Nora made some beautiful ones already. Now I've found the perfect fabric, really light for those lights... Not quite ready yet, something's still missing...

Frühjahrsputz + neue Kleider - cleaning & decorating

Da ich immer noch nicht die hübsche Schürze genäht habe, und meine weiße Porzellanflasche (gedacht für Ketchup oder Senf , ich habe Spülmittel drin) mich schon lange Änderung flehend angeschaut hat, habe ich mich gerne - wieder mal - von Betty anstecken lassen und zu meinen Keramikfarben von CreaDirect gegriffen. Liebe für Keramikfarben ist nur eine der vielen Lieben, die ich mich mit Betty teile, gell Betty? Mir schweben ein paar andere Ideen auch noch im Kopf, aber ich muss warten, bis ich noch eine weiße Farbe bekomme, um das dunkle blau aufzuhellen... Gut so, denn meine Liste der zu erledigenden Sachen ist ziemlich lang. Ausserdem widme ich die nächsten Tage wieder intensivem Lernen in Seminaren. Kurze Blogpause also auch bei mir, bis nächste Woche, macht's gut!



In Heidis wunderhübschem Blog My home and Life sah ich eine entzückende Idee für meine langweiligen Stühle. Auf die to do -liste also... im Moment muss ich auch Nähen wirklich auf der Liste lassen, leider. Das ging gerade noch: ganz schnell genäht waren neue Polsterüberzüge für meine Korbsesselpolster: Stoff aus Ikea Fundkiste, Naturleinen + ein paar Knöpfe.



Wenn ich schon einen Korbsessel umgezogen habe, dann den zweiten auch: ich liebe meine uralten weißen Polster mit selbstgehäkelten Spitzen immer noch, die Decke hat meine Kleine letztes Jahr mit 12 in der Schule genäht. *brustrausvorstolz* Schön, oder?!

I liked the idea of Outi so much, I wanted to sew an apron for my washing up liquid... I haven't... I still have my liquid in a porcellain bottle originally though for ketchup or mustard ;-) - and I think daily (!) on decorating the bottle. Betty inspired my - one more time - to get my beloved CreaDirect colors. Loving to decorate porcellain is just of of the creative passions Betty and I seem to share... Right, Betty? Other ideas I have in mind will have to wait till next week. The to do NOW! -list has to get shorter first... AND: the next days I want to concentrate on learning in seminars again. Until next week then, have a nice week!

In Heidi's lovely blog My home and Life I found a beautiful idea for my boring chairs. At the moment I'll just have to write it on my to do list... Changing the clothes for my rattan chair was quickly done, one of those "quick crafts for sanity" -projects ;-) A couple of fabrics out of Ikea leftover, nature linen + some cute buttons. Also the second rattan chair got fresh clothes on: I made the white cushions with self crocheted lace several years ago and still love them, the plaid was made by my younger daughter at school last year (she was 12 yrs then! *proud of her*), isn't it beautiful?
